Rev. Gregory Jackson

Rev. Gregory Jackson is a distinguished leader in the Baptist community, with a long and fruitful career as a pastor, mentor, and missionary. He served as the president of Lott Carey from 2020-2022, following his previous roles as first and second vice president of the international mission agency. He retired after 36 years as the senior pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Rev. Jackson has a passion for missions and a vision for global engagement. He has been involved in various initiatives to foster interfaith dialogue, ecumenical cooperation, and educational development. He is a former president of New Brunswick Theological Seminary Board of Trustees in New Jersey and a past president of the Hackensack Fellowship of Black Churches. He has also served on the General Council of the Baptist World Alliance and the board of the Baptist-Islamic Taskforce.
